What It's Like

There is a warm welcome and the room is a relaxing space – not too full, not too empty, to step off the treadmill of life, to take a moment to just BE. Marese is never shocked by anything! After a chat I lie down and stop my interaction with the world and I drift off…away from the stresses of life. I don’t understand how it works but it does. When the work is done and I re-emerge towards interaction with the world again I am at peace, lighter, strengthened. I’m so glad I found Marese. AC, March 2011

Discovering Reiki 18 months ago I had to be taken by ambulance to the Mater hospital as I had excruciating pain. I was there for 18 hours and they did numerous tests, i.e. blood tests, x-rays, scans etc and all the while having to be pumped with painkillers. I left there and they still did not know what caused the pain. I was 2 weeks out of work and in agony. A few months later the same thing happened to me, off in an ambulance and this time to the Beaumont hospital. I went through the same scenario there and eventually left with no answers. My GP sent me to a specialist in the Bons hospital and was admitted to have every type of tests available. The tests showed nothing significant and so my GP said “I don’t know what to do with you” and I was still in agony. Thank God I was told about Reiki and went along to Marese Hickey in Clontarf. I cannot tell you how amazing this treatment is. After the 1 visit it faded significantly and then after 3 it has disappeared. It entails having hands-on healing and you feel so relaxed, its like floating. I will go for Reiki healing now for any kind of medical condition and Marese is my “little angel” for getting me back to perfect health. I think the “Medical profession” should wake up and send patients for Reiki………….! It truly is a beautiful experience and gives a whole new perspective in life to full and happy life.
